You can get basmati rice, wheat flour, curd, green chillies and some Indian items from Taj grocery. But you wont be getting masala (sambar, chilli chicken, rasam, mutton masala powders) items here so try bringing more. Try to bring bring ready mix powders (dhall powder, instant rice mix powders) as much as you can. Also bring some spices any how you will be getting here but too costly.

Hi friends,
After completing your under graduation successfully many students wants to pursue their higher studies, well its a nice idea but it all depends upon the individual how you face the challenges in your life right from applying to an university and getting admission. I am sure you all will get admission for the course and university/college you have opted for.

Here I am going to post some information that would really be helpful for those who wants to know more about life in Uk.

1) Accommodation which is the most important question that arises as soon as you get a seat. For that there are some links that I would like to share in order to make it easy and simple for you.
http://www.gumtree.com
this a link where you need to type in the number of rooms and the type of accommodation that you require and it will make your first step easier.

(or)

After landing here you can go meet some letting agents in person and they would be able to help you.
a) The letting agent would require a letter from your university/ college stating that you are the student of that univ/college.
b) They will also be asking for guarantor who should be based in UK and should be having a house in UK,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Need not worry if you don't have any one of those you need to have lots of money I mean you need to pay three months rent in advance.

2) If you are done with your accommodation you can order for a free SIM from a service provider by going online to the following website and order a free SIM card for you as well as for your friend (Two in one).
