1) Abbreviation of computer?
Ans] C =Commonly
O =Oriented
M=Machine
P=Particularly
U=Used for
T=Trade and
E=Educational
R=Research
This is an exact abbreviation for the computer.
2) List few input devices that you know?
Ans] Keyboard, mouse, electronic pen, scanner, etc.
3) List few output devices that you know?
Ans] Monitor, printer, speaker etc.
4) What do you mean by networking?
Ans] Inter connecting two or more devices together and making them to communicate with each other is called as networking.
5) Difference between RJ11 and RJ45 cable?
Ans] RJ11 is nothing but the telephone cable, and similarly RJ45 is Ethernet cable (LAN cable).
6) Abbreviation for OSI?
Ans] Open System Interconnect, this is a society that governs and implements some standards to the manufacturing units/ divisions.
7) List few networking devices that you know?
Ans] Router, switch, hub, repeater etc.
8) Different types of cable?
Ans] UTP =Unshielded Twisted Pair
STP =Shielded Twisted Pair.
9) UTP different cabling types?
Ans] Straight cable = Used to connect different devices.
Cross cable = Used to connect same devices.
Console or Roll over cable= Used to connect only while configuring the Router.
10) Abbreviation of DTE and DCE?
Ans] DTE stands for Data Terminal Equipment.
DCE stands for Data Communication Equipment.
11) Abbreviation’s for few technical terms.
PING = Packet Internet Grouper
ARP =Address Resolution Protocol
FTP= File Transfer Protocol
TFTP =Trivial File Transfer Protocol
NFS=Network File System
SMTP= Simple Mail Transfer Protocol
DNS=Domain Name Service
HTTP=Hyper Text Transfer Protocol
